While I like reading the hot new book everyone is talking about there’s so many amazing classics that I don’t want to miss out on. And this is not an excuse to reread Pride and Prejudice (again), but there’s some major holes in my literary knowledge.
The Classics Club Challenge gives me the opportunity to fix the error of my ways! I have to list 50 books I want to read in 5 years and every time I check one off the list I also need to write about my thoughts. I’ll be linking up reviews and keeping track of my progress over here (working on my first review for next week!)
For my list, I tried to divide evenly among the three genres; I believe there’s 16 for Sci-Fi, 14 for Fantasy, and 20 for Horror. My only hard rule for criteria was the book had to be older than me, because I feel like 30 plus years is enough time to prove your longevity.
If you wish to take part in the challenge or want more info go visit them here! I’m sure they’ll be glad you stopped by. 🙂
My goal date to be done is September 26th, 2024.

Welcome to TCC! I’ve been reading classics w/ TCC for almost 8 years now, and I see you have several that I still haven’t gotten to. They’re not even on a future list. I’ve been curious about the Foundation series, but I’m not sure I will enjoy sci fi.
Good luck to you.
